Communique issued at the end of Media training for legislative reporters on maternal health by CISLAC

The Civil Society Legislative Advocacy Centre (CISLAC) organized a Media Training for Legislative Reporters on Maternal Health with support from Mac Arthur Foundation. The training drew over 20 participants from various media organisations. The training featured Mallam Y.Z Ya’u as the lead presenter and other discussants.

WHARC improves Traditional Birth Attendants’ skills in Camp 34, Urhonigbe, and Oligie-Ottah PHCS

Ottah PHCS all in  Orhionmwon Local Government Area of Edo State. WHARC’s training project, supported by TY Danjuma Foundation, is armed at contributing to the reduction of maternal mortality, by educating the TBAs on basic information and skills needed and also, empowering them to apply safe delivery methods and prompt referral in cases of emergency such as prolong labour to save life of both mother and child in Edo State.
